Isle Of Skye
The Isle of Skye is a distillation of all that is amazing about Scotland, visitors and, those who are working to become a Scottish lord. The scenery is magnificent, the wildlife disorderly and original, and there exist a healthy cultural side to the island, as a place that has already been home to poets and a setting for novels such as To The Lighthouse by Virginia Woolf. Red deer and golden eagles could be seen on Skye, with countless of the islanders still preserving the crofting tradition whereby they work limited plan of land. Rising overhead the island are the Cuillin, a range of craggy, rocky mountains and the iconic Old Man of Storr on the Trotternish peninsula.
Loch Lomond

Isle of Staffa

In the early 19th century the uninhabited Hebridean island six miles west of Mull became a magnet for artists and writers like Turner, Keats, and Wordsworth. They came to see the huge sea cavern made up of huge hexagonal basalt rock columns much like the Giant’s Causeway across the sea in Antrim, and known as Fingal’s Cave after the giant of Gaelic mythology. One of the visitors was the composer Felix Mendelssohn who was inspired to write his famous Hebridean Overture.
